Birds Bed and Breakfast-Boarding Services & Fees

Services:

• 24-hour air purification.

• Temperature-controlled bird rooms at 20 degrees Celsius.

• A cleaned and sanitized cage, appropriate for the size of your bird. Please bring your bird in its travel cage.

• Daily cage cleaning with white vinegar and dish soap (no cleaning products and bleach).

• Bird's preferred fruits and vegetables offered once a day. Please bring your bird's preferred pellets and treats.

• Stainless steel food, water, and bathing bowls inside each cage.

• Water changed as often as required.

• Toys in each cage. Please bring your bird’s favourite toy/hut for increased comfort.

• Soothing music and tv for entertainment.

• Camera monitoring.

• Supervised out of cage time to fly, exercise, and play on the play stands. 

• 1:1 enrichment time for each bird with one of our carers.

• Birds from different households will have alternate out-of-cage time several times a day.

• Daily updates to bird parents.

Service Fees:

• Small birds (e.g., Budgie, Finch, Canary): $12+tax per day ($13.56)

• Medium birds (e.g., Lovebird, Conure, Quaker, Cockatiel, Ringneck): $17+tax per day ($19.10)

• Large birds (e.g., African Grey, Amazon, Senegal): $27+tax per day ($30.51)

• Extra-large birds (e.g., Macaw, Cockatoo): $42+tax per day ($47.46)

• Once we confirm availability for your bird, we require that you pay the full boarding fee to reserve your bird’s place.  This is to ensure that all clients honor their bookings to allow us to plan to our capacity and to provide the service to whoever needs bird boarding.

• Please note that no refund on fees will be given 13 days or less from the booked date.  When we take your booking, we reject other bookings.  It is therefore important to inform us of changes to your plans immediately. 

• Please also note that we always pay our taxes.  There will therefore be no discounts on fees. 

Additional Services:

• We can provide pellets and treats: $2.50+tax per bird, per day. 

• We can pick up and drop off your bird: Calculated at $1 per kilometer each way.   

• We can trim your bird’s nails and beak (we do not clip wings):

  • Small bird: $10+tax ($11.30)

  • Medium bird: $20+tax ($22.60)

  • Large bird and extra-large bird: $30+tax ($33.90)

  • Each additional bird: $5+tax ($5.65)
